Counselling
Whether you're navigating trauma, grief, the aftermath of domestic abuse, or simply feeling like life has become too much to carry alone, counselling offers a safe, trauma-informed space to make sense of what you're experiencing and find your way forward.
What is counselling?
Counselling offers a safe, confidential space to explore your experiences, understand your feelings, and make sense of what you're going through or have been through.
My approach is trauma-informed, which means I prioritize your safety, choice, and autonomy. You lead the session. I walk alongside you, respecting your pace and never pressuring you to share more than feels right.
It can be helpful when you're feeling emotionally overwhelmed, not quite yourself, or struggling to cope with life's demands. You don't need to have the right words or a clear plan. We work gently, at a pace that feels right for you.
Sessions are available in Towcester or online across the UK.
Person-centred
Led by you, your experiences, and what feels most important right now.
Trauma-Informed
Safety and choice are at the heart of everything we do together.
At Your Pace
There's no pressure to disclose more than feels right for you.
Strength-Based
We recognize your resilience and build on the strengths you already have.
Who is counselling for?
Adults
I work with adults navigating trauma, bereavement, anticipatory grief, domestic abuse, being a victim of crime, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and the emotional impact of illness.
Young People (Ages 11+)
I support young people experiencing grief, trauma, family change, anxiety, low mood, school transitions, and relationship challenges. All work follows NSPCC safeguarding guidelines.
Sessions are available face-to-face in Towcester and online across the UK.
If you're looking for goal-focused support to move forward with clarity and action, coaching may be a better fit.
